How tax exemption is shown to your buyers

When a buyer is in a customer group with tax exempt setup, they will only see the price without tax and check out with that price.

How tax price display is shown to your buyers

The tax price display will be shown to your buyers according to your setup:

• Both prices but tax-inclusive price is highlighted: The tax-inclusive price will be shown in bold, bigger font while the tax-exclusive price stand out less.

• Both prices but tax-exclusive price is highlighted: The tax-exclusive price will be shown in bold, bigger font while the tax-inclusive price stand out less.

• Tax-inclusive price only: Only price with tax is shown.

• Tax-exclusive price only: Only price without tax is shown.

The Tax price display is for display purpose only, tax will still be calculated to the customers normally regardless of the setup.

If your Shopify Tax settings has the Additional configuration boxes checked, please uncheck it for the tax to display correctly.
