# 👋 App introduction

Managing taxes for different customers and countries can be complicated. B2Bridge Tax makes it simple for Shopify store owners to handle B2B tax exemptions, show clear tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive pricing, and manage custom tax rates across their storefront.

### What does B2Bridge Tax do?

* **Automatic B2B Tax Exemption:** Lets business customers enter their official Tax ID (such as EU VAT, UK VAT, ABN, or GST) directly on the cart page. Once verified, tax is automatically deducted at checkout as an Order Discount.
* **Flexible Storefront Tax Display:** Set rules to display tax-inclusive prices, tax-exclusive prices, or both across product pages, collection pages, search results, and cart pages based on customer tags or locations.
* **Custom Tax Rates & Overrides:** Sync tax rates automatically from Shopify or manually set tax rate overrides by country, state, or city to ensure precise price calculations.

1. **Configure Tax Rates:** Keep tax rates synced with your Shopify settings or manually override rates for specific locations.
2. **Set Display Rules:** Choose how prices appear to B2B vs. B2C shoppers across your storefront.
3. **Enable Tax Exemption:** Allow qualified business buyers to enter their Tax ID on the Cart page for instant tax relief at checkout.
