Shipping Rates
Shipping Rates lets you set your own delivery charges for B2B buyers at checkout, instead of relying only on Shopify's built-in rates. You decide who each rate applies to, in which markets, which products trigger it, and how the price is worked out.
How Shipping Rates work
You create a shipping option through a 4-step setup, choosing its name, who it applies to, and how it's priced.
You set the customers, markets, and products that trigger the rate.
You configure the rate table, usage limits, and schedule.
Finally, you review and save the option, then decide in Settings how it behaves alongside Shopify's own rates.
Managing your Shipping Rates
From the Shipping Rates page, you can:
Create a new shipping option by clicking Create shipping option.
Edit an existing option by clicking the edit icon in the Action column.
Duplicate an option to quickly build a similar one (the copy starts inactive).
Delete an option (this cannot be undone; you'll be asked to confirm).
Turn an option on or off using the Set active toggle.
At the top of the page, three counters show your Total, Active, and Inactive options at a glance.

Set up your shipping options
Step 1: Start the Shipping option setup You first need to click the Create shipping option. You can find it in your start screen/ your Shipping Rate table screen.

Step 2: Fill in the option details Enter the basic information for your shipping option.
Option name ( Required): The internal name used to find the option in your list. This is not shown to customers.
Checkout display title ( Required): The name the buyer sees at checkout, for example "Freight delivery".
Shipping time ( Optional): Enter a from–to number of business days. Leave blank if you're unsure, and nothing will show to the buyer.

Step 3: Choose who and what the rate applies to
This step sets the customers, markets, and products that trigger the option.
Customer group: Choose one or more customer groups you've already created. You must choose at least one.
Markets: Select All markets, or Specific markets to pick individual ones. These stay in sync with your Shopify Markets.
Products: Choose what the rate applies: All products, or Specific products, Products from a price list, Product collections, or a Product tag. Only matching items in the cart will trigger the shipping rate.

Step : Set the rate
This step is where you set the price. You can offer free shipping or build a rate table.
Free shipping: Tick Free shipping for this option to charge $0 on every matching order. The rate table switches off while this is on.
Rate is measured by: Choose one basis for looking up the price — Quantity (total items), Amount (order value), or Weight (total weight).
Rate table: Each row is a shipping rate rule. If the measured value falls between From and To of any row, the rate in that row will be applied.
From / To
The range the row covers. Leave To blank on the last row to mean "and above".
Flat rate
A fixed amount, e.g. 150–499 lb = $65 charges $65 whether the order is 200 lb or 450 lb.
Percentage
A percentage of the order value.
Use Add rate to add a row, or the trash can icon to remove one.

Usage limits: Choose No limit (applies every time it matches), Limit total uses (stops showing once all customers reaches the number), or Limit uses per customer (stops showing for each customer once they reach their limit).
Schedule: Set a start and end date to control when the option appears at checkout. Leave both blank to keep it always on. You can fill in just one side if you only need a start or only an end.

Step 5: Review and save
Check everything on one read-only screen: the checkout title, delivery time, customers, products, markets, the rate table, usage limit, and schedule. When you're ready, click Save to set the shipping rate.
